D.I.Y- New Recipes!!!

  All products can be purchased from Amazon or your local grocery store

Ingredients 

1 cup Coconut Oil

1 TSP Turmeric

1 TSP Cinnamon

1 TSP Celtic Sea Salt

1 TSP of Ground Cloves

1/2 cup baking soda

1/8 TSP of Pepper (to activate the Turmeric)

For my household, I  add a 1/2 cup of the purple powdered Irish sea moss

Mixing well together in a bowl, then spoon into a  spoon

8 oz. Jar with a screw top.

Turmeric and Black pepper - help with plaque, bacteria, and inflammation.  The Black Pepper activates the Turmeric.

Celtic Sea Salt - Has the additional minerals that we need.

Cinnamon - helps fight oral disease and candida (yeast)

Ground Cloves - help fight cavities and bacteria and are a natural anesthetic

 Please remember to discard any waste in the toilet when brushing your teeth, not in the sink.

Ingredients 

2 cup distilled water

1 TBSP of crushed Cloves

1/2 cup coconut oil

2 Cinnamon Sticks

 First, bring the water to a boil. Add in the brown cloves and coconut oil, and stir until they are fully dissolved. Next, take a larger mason jar and put in the cinnamon sticks and water. Allow the mixture to cool down before straining it into a new jar. Once you've done that, add new cinnamon sticks, seal the jar tightly, and you're ready to enjoy!

A calming and skin-nourishing bath tea recipe made with Epsom salt and dried flowers. Service.

Ingredients 

1 cup Epsom salt

1/2 cup dried roses, lavender, calendula, cornflowers, chamomile each

3-5 drops essential oil

1. Mix 3-5 drops of essential oil with 1 cup Epsom salt.
2. Pour about 3 tablespoons of Epsom salt inside a small bag (or until the bag is filled halfway). Use organza, muslin, or real teabags.
3. Layer a heaping tablespoon of lavender, calendula, chamomile, cornflowers, and roses.
4. Knot bag closed and store in an airtight jar until ready to use.
5. To enjoy the herbal bath tea, drop one bag into bath water or hang under running water.

Ingredients 

 1⁄3 cup coconut oil 

 1⁄3 cup shea butter 

 1⁄3 cup cocoa butter (raw cocoa butter has a strong smell. Use REFINED cocoa butter instead if this is an issue for you).

 1⁄3 cup jojoba oil or sweet almond oil 

15-30 drops essential oils of your favorite essential oil

1. In a double boiler or glass bowl, combine all ingredients except essential oils.
2. Bring to medium heat and constantly stir until all ingredients are melted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
3. Move to the fridge and let cool another 1 hour or until starting to harden but still somewhat soft.
4. Use a hand mixer to whip for 10 minutes until fluffy. Add essential oils and whip for another minute.
5. Store in a glass jar with a lid.

Just remember, a little goes a long way.

Ingredients 

2/3 cup 91 percent isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol, the main disinfecting ingredient)

1/3 cup aloe vera gel (which is soothing to the skin and also helps to bind the ingredients together)

Optional: Tea tree essential oil, lemon, or orange to give your hand sanitizer a fragrance

Vitamin E oil helps calm and nourish your skin, keeping it hydrated and clean.

3 oz. Travel bottle.

1. In a mixing bowl or ideally a blender, stir together your main hand sanitizer ingredients (isopropyl alcohol and aloe vera gel) until combined. A blender will likely give you the best results since it can be hard to mix alcohol and aloe by hand.
2. Add the tea tree essential oil and vitamin E oil and stir or blend to incorporate.
3. Pour the homemade hand sanitizer into an empty container. A bottle with a dispenser or flip-top may be best for easily getting the mixture out. It will stay good for several months or longer.
